16 October 2026 — Netherlands Play cards. This kicker does not host the files.

Pou on a game watcher morning

Pou store still

Second card, different shelf

16 October — after Archero I opened me.pou.app. The name was Pou. The developer was Zakeh. The genre chips were Simulation, Care, Pet, and Casual. Nothing in that list overlaps the role-playing chips on the card I had just closed, which is why this kicker refuses to call the three a set of similar games.

The header printed contains ads and in-app purchases. The install price was zero. PEGI 3 was the age badge, not PEGI 16. That difference is the first thing I would tell someone who saw both links in the same letter.

A star average with a much larger pile

Pou also read 4.3 stars. The review count beside it was 11.2M. Archero's 4.3 came with 1.74M. I wrote both, because collapsing them to one sentence would hide the pile. Downloads printed 1B+. That is a bucket. I do not know the integer inside it, and the card did not offer one.

The updated line said 13 October 2026, three days before I read it. Archero's update line was 10 September. Newer is not a rank. It is a date.

The gallery was posters

I went through the stills looking for a frame of the pet in a room, the way the Mini Metro gallery gave me a map in progress. Pou's frames were collages with slogans baked in: personalize, take care of Pou, play many games, play with friends. I used the care collage as the still on the card and I am saying so here. It is store artwork of the pet in several states, not a photograph of my own session.

I did not invent a gameplay loop beyond the words on those posters and the genre chips. Care, pet, simulation. The slogan asked if you have what it takes to adopt a Pou. That is advertising copy on the card.

Families policy and a harsher safety line

The Data safety summary said no data is shared with third parties. It then listed personal info, app activity, and two other types the summary did not name. I will not guess the missing two. It said data is not encrypted. It said you can request that data be deleted. It said the app is committed to the Play Families Policy.

Set that next to Archero, which said data is encrypted and cannot be deleted, and which did not print the Families line in the summary I saw. Same morning, different declarations. The data page keeps them in separate paragraphs so they cannot be averaged.

Money, again, without a catalogue

Free to install, ads badge, purchases badge. I did not open a coin shop and I did not copy stray euro amounts out of the page source. If a price matters, it has to be the price on the install button or a badge. Pou's install button had no euro figure.

PEGI 3 does not cancel the purchases badge. A younger rating and a payments badge can share a header. I left both visible on the kicker.

The lines I left blank

No size. No version. No minimum OS on the header. Package id me.pou.app. Developer Zakeh. Checked 16 October 2026.

This site does not host Pou. The Play link is the install. Game Watcher Weekly is not Zakeh and not affiliated with the store. The number 2 on the home card is the order I opened the file, after Archero and before Mini Metro.

How I would hand this card to someone else

Pou is the card I would describe as a pet first and a game second, because that is the order of the chips: simulation, care, pet, casual. The posters repeat the care idea in plain language. One of them says take care of Pou. Another says personalize. Another says play many games, and another says play with friends. I am listing slogans, not features I verified by tapping them. The gallery did not give me a quiet room with a single pet and a meter I could read, so I did not invent the meters.

The number that surprises people is the download bucket, 1B+, next to a star average that matches Archero's 4.3. I would say both numbers and then stop. A billion-scale bucket and a 4.3 are compatible. They do not tell me whether the last month of reviews agrees with the lifetime average. The card printed 11.2M reviews as the count beside the stars. That is the count I am willing to repeat.

The safety summary is the part I would not paraphrase. No sharing with third parties, then a list that starts with personal info and app activity and continues with two types the summary did not name. Data is not encrypted. Deletion can be requested. The Families Policy line is present. Archero's summary, read the same morning, used different sentences. I kept them apart on purpose.

Zakeh is the developer name. me.pou.app is the package. PEGI 3 is the age badge, and it shares the header with ads and in-app purchases. Free to install is not the same sentence as free of those badges. The file stays on Play. Checked 16 October 2026, three days after the card's own updated line of 13 October 2026.

The paper list for Pou is the same shape as the list for Archero, which is the point. Same columns, different answers. Where Archero has PEGI 16, Pou has PEGI 3. Where Archero's safety summary says data cannot be deleted, Pou's says a person can request deletion. Where Archero says data is encrypted in transit, Pou says data is not encrypted. I did not go looking for a contradiction to write about. The summaries simply did not match, and a kicker that merged them would be inventing a policy neither developer signed.

The posters are a limitation I should be blunt about. A care simulation usually has meters. I have seen that pattern elsewhere. I did not see a meter I could quote on this card's gallery, so there is no hunger figure and no sleep figure in this note. The collage shows a pet asleep, a pet with a thermometer, a pet in a costume. Those are drawings with a slogan across them. They support the word "care" that is already in the genre chips. They do not support a numbered guide.

11.2M reviews is large enough that I will not sample them. The card says ratings and reviews are verified, which is the store's own label, and I am not auditing that label. The star average is 4.3. The download bucket is 1B+. Updated 13 October 2026. Developer Zakeh. Package me.pou.app. Ads and in-app purchases on a zero price. That paragraph is the whole card, and it is enough to decide whether to open Play.

I am in Leeuwarden, not in the developer's office. Game Watcher Weekly does not receive a cut if someone taps the store link, and the link is marked so it does not pretend otherwise. If the Families Policy line disappears from the summary, or if an ads badge appears or vanishes, that is a new archive entry, not a rewrite of this one.

One last line for the paper list: the still on the kicker is the care collage, slogan included, because that is what the gallery offered. I would rather show a poster and name it than crop a slogan off and call the result play.
